My name is Wendy aka horsewoman7407. I'm 57, married, and I'm a bookkeeper for a small manufacturing company near my home. I love horses but don't any, have two cats, a grown daughter and two grandchildren ages 17 and 14. My weight has been a struggle all of my life. At my highest weight about 16 years ago I weighed over 260 pounds. I'm under 200 pounds now. I want to lose the weight for myself, to be healthy, for better self esteem and to feel good in my skin and my clothes.
Looking for a weight loss buddy to share the journey with me.

My Goals:
Lose the last 54 pounds to my goal weight.
Improve my stamina
Improve my attitude
Enjoy life
Be alive when my grandchildren marry and start families.
Enjoy life with my husband
So I don't feel like I the odd person in a group


My Program:
I am following a whole foods program, with limited dairy, and incorporating whole grains especially the ancient grains like spelt, barley and amaranth and increasing my intake of protein.

I was born in Saginaw, Michigan, graduated from Arthur Hill High School and moved to Grand Rapids in 1973. I currently reside in Byron Center, MI with my husband Randy and my cats Goblin and Seal. My email address is: horsewoman7407@att.net

My favorite books include the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Hoping they are made into a movie can't wait to see who portrays Jamie Frazer. Current favorite movies include Avatar and The Lake House.
