Hey, Beatrice!! Thanks for commenting on my blog. I could sooooooo relate to what you were saying too!! I am glad you understand. I guess I just got caught up in the marathon mania, because the training for my first seemed to go so smoothly. I think marathon running is great, but only if you are really psyched up for it, and ready mentally to take it on. I certainly don't think it should be the distance of choice... at least not for me. Plus I think the extra mileage is really having a negative impact on me, and I am up 10+ lbs from where I was at Christmas (my goal). I am so disgusted with myself, but my appetite is just so crazy. I used to feel that running helped me keep my eating in check, but that hasn't been the case with the excessive mileage I've been doing. And I am getting really burned out with running, dreading every run, even the shorter ones!!! Is that horrible?? I have only run twice this week, and both runs were really short, and it's now been 3 days that I haven't run.... And I am dreading my long run tomorrow.... Thanks so much for understanding.
On a different subject - we have been sewing for my Hauswirtschaftskurs. I am totally loving it. My husband was so impressed with the pillow cases we made with Reißverschluß. He thought it looked store-bought. He was also very impressed with my button holes on another pillow case! =) I have now purchased a pattern and material to make my daughters some dresses. I am so excited!! I wish you lived close by, so you could kind of help me get started. I am a little unsure of myself. But I am off to set up my work area now to get started on those dresses!! I will try to post pictures of my progress, maybe on FB, ok?

Beatrice - how are you??? So proud of you for finishing your first HM!! That was a great time too. Great job, girl!
My husband has been offered a job here in Germany - it was totally unexpected. He didn't even apply for anything, we were just talking to the right people at the right time, and BAM! They invited him to come in and check out the job. We took that (as well as some other things) as a definite sign that we are supposed to stay here in Germany. I am VERY EXCITED!! That will be such a HUGE weight lifted from us! His current job situation is just horrible.
I will also be in England next week. Are you here in Germany?? I was thinking maybe we could meet up, but only if you want to and have time. =)
