10-16-18 GOALS
I am going to start with a few small goals.

WebMD Target blood sugar levels with diabetes
Fasting goal, less than 100
B4 meal 70 - 130
After a meal, 1 to 2 hrs, less than 180
Bedtime 100 - 140
A1c less than or around 7%

1) Get my A1C blood glucose in control.


10/9/18 blood work
A1c was 5.8% high, target 4.8%-5.6%
Glucose was 104, high, target 65-99mg



2) Walk the dog 3 times a day, these are very short walks, gotta start slow.
UPDATE 11/2/18 - Walked dog 3 times/11 days.
3) Lose 4 lbs a month, any weight loss is better than no weight loss, and that's where I have been.

I know I need to get back into the SP community! I am having a very hard time! I need to lose weight, and eat right, also exercise regularly. They kinda all go hand and hand, don't they? I try to step up my activity, I was walking the dog, I decided to stop using the riding cart at the stores, I did this about 3 times, and then I have a sit back, I missed about 6 days the last 2 weeks. I feel weak, foggy, nauseous, headaches, shaky, tense, sweats, no energy. I can't function at work on the phones. So I try, can't and then get very discouraged!




Looking forward to fall and cooler weather.
Update! We got a pretty good rain on the 25th &26th of August. We hadn't had rain since July 2018. It cleaned the air and it seems to have turned to fall just this week.

I am changing my page to "We need rain theme!", because we really need rain! There are wildfires all around Washington and Idaho. The air quality has been really hazy, air quality unhealthy. I can't open the house up,I can't wait for it to rain! So my page is going to stay like this until we get the kind of rain we need to put out all the fires and get rid of the haze! The weather people say it may not be until October??????? Crazy! I really do hope they are wrong this time!

UPDATE: 8/27/18 It finally rained today, all afternoon! It's suppose to rain tomorrow too!

GOALS
1. Start reading positive affirmations daily.
2. Moderation, smaller portions, stop when full.
3. Spread carbs out through out my day.
4. Work on eating a diabetic balanced diet.
5. Get my A1c down to normal levels.
6. If I have a bad day? Own it, log it and get on with my day.
7. Do chair exercise gradually work up to, 3 minutes at a time, 10 times a day. Short term: work up to 10 minutes, 3 times a day.
Short term: 15 mins twice a day, etc
A short term goal could be the 10 minutes three times a day
Then 15 minutes twice a day
8. Get off of my asthma medications.
9. To eventually be more mobile, able to walk outside,hike Tub's Hill
