After battling weight issues through my mid-20's I finally felt great about my health. On my wedding day I weighed 129 pounds - the lowest I had been since Middle School!
Although my first year of marriage was very good, my first year of marriage food was not. I was used to eating salads and chicken, fruit, fresh spinach. All of a sudden I was responsible for meals for a man; meals that included pot roast, pork chops, mashed potatoes, butter, ground beef, pasta.
Needless to say I gained 30 pounds in less than a year. Although I can squeeze into the same pants it is definitely not pretty!

WOOHOO! I am down to 136 lbs!

6/2012
What a crazy year! In May I delivered 2 healthy, happy baby boys! I am ready to get some of my shape back but I must admit I'm not ready to really bust my butt. I know it will take some time. At my max I weighed 195 and I'm currently at 155 - right where I was when I started SparkPeople 18 months ago! I know I can do it!

1/2014
Although I had really hoped I'd "bounce back" after having my boys I quickly realized it was going to take a LOT of work and that post-twin stomach - eek - might never look the same [or even close!]. Last spring I started running and exercising regularly but just barely made it into the 140's [goal was 130].
Well - here we go again! Baby #3 will arrive this June and I am determined to make good choices this time around. I'm going to continue to track my calories and exercise at a comfortable level (don't worry, I've talked with my doctor). Here's hoping I'm in better shape post-delievery than I was when I got pregnant.

    Just read your Spark Page. It sounds like you and I are in similar boats. When I met my husband I weighed 125. After we were married, I too gained 30 lbs. Then after my first daughter, my highest weight was 190lbs. Then I finally got down to 135 and then was pregnant again with the doctor telling me again that I"m gaining weight too quickly. Doctor's orders were to cut out refined sugar and white flour items. I'm hoping that helps with taking the weight off after our 2nd daughter is born. Great to meet you. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks for adding me! Congrats on your being a mom of three! So busy and crazy at times but we wouldn't change it!
    Twins are so much fun! My little brothers are twins and I was 16 when they were born. My friend has twins that are 6 and her 3rd child is 5. They are 18such mos apart.
