Last year's was challenge, and it was definitely a challenge. I had a new baby and had to work on overcoming all the new challenges that brought. This year I am going to work on improving everything I put in place last year.

I am good with where I am, but I know that I can do so much better. I plan on improving my fitness, eating, business, and overall health.

It is going to be a good year, and I am looking forward to all that it will bring.

I am committed to lose the weight I have gained back, after losing so much and feeling so good. It has been a new chapter in my life, and a lot of things changed. The baby was only the last bit. I am now really wanting to get back to where I was. I have a ton of clothes in my closet just waiting for me. I know that I can get back into them if I only put forth the effort.

I am definitely starting another chapter of my life, once again. My hubby and I are expecting our first child together. He has one who is 11, this is my first pregnancy.

It is a really exciting time! We are due at the end of January/ beginning of February 2019. ***I had my baby on Dec 28, 2018. (edited 3.19.18)

My health routine is changing once again.

Prior too this, my baby boy, my minpin, passed away in December. It was a very sad time and I still have my snuggle moments-he is really missed. He did live a long , happy ten years though. He was spoiled and loved.

I know life continually changes and I am looking forward to my new chapter.

Think highly of yourself, as the world takes you at your own estimate.

Success, like an adventure, begins with a leap into the unknown.

Can you achieve your goals? You can't reach your goal if you haven't defined your goals. And you can't succeed if you don't try - and then pick yourself up and try again each time you fail.

Put your best into your life, and you will be rewarded with happiness regardless of the final score.

My philosophy about weight loss:

~Your past does not determine your future

~You can improve your overall health - FOREVER

~You can achieve your weight loss goals with out any "gimicks," "fads," "pills," or "get thin quick" programs

~What you focus on in life (energy, thoughts, actions) you will create

~Only YOU have the answers to what is right for you

Sometime in 2010:
In 2008 I went into a clothing store to buy a new pair of jeans. The pants I would have needed to buy were yet another size larger, reading a whopping size 22. I decided then and there that I had enough and was tired of the way I was growing. So, I left the store with the too tight pants that I was wearing and the determination to change.

A friend told me about SparkPeople. I timidly began my weight loss (beginning of August 2008) journey on SparkPeople without a clear idea of how to succeed. I had been on diets before, and had been told to do this, or this, and not this to get me where I wanted to be. I discovered many myths and truths to some of what I had been told. I had a hard time believing in myself at this point, or even believing that I was meant to be skinny. I truly felt I was destined to be fat forever. I did not do so well.

In February of 2009 I moved, yet again. This time I was stuck in a place where I didn't have much to do, or places to go, so I would hop onto SparkPeople daily. I got to know the site really well. I read the articles. I read the blogs. I read the message boards. During this time something clicked and I found my determination again. However, this time it felt different. I felt as though I had a family to depend on, a support team, and confidants. Since that time I have lost 120 pounds (all without pills, "going on a diet", having surgery, or buying any expensive exercise equipment).

It definitely has not been easy. I have had more than enough struggles, but I made it through. I have about 15 pounds left before reaching my goal weight. The best part is that I have figured out how to keep it off and continue to get into better shape without pills, "fad diets", surgery, and expensive exercise equipment.

I took my determination and set out on an adventure that was going to change my life forever. I was going to find a way to fit into smaller pants, get healthier and increase my energy so I was not fatigued and filled with exhaustion to the point that I was not able to participate in life. (I was tired of feeling this way.) I knew the path I had chosen to follow would come with its terrain; there would be hills, bumps and many other obstacles for me to overcome; my determination would get me through.

My journey has been long and full of obstacles, but I have gained such knowledge and insight on proper nutrition, fitness and mindset. Along the way, I have also developed a passion of helping others find their lost energy, fitting into their smaller pants and becoming healthier by sharing my stories, advice, hints and tips. I just know that this is what I was meant to do and am so close to reaching my own goal weight that I am so excited to be sharing in your journey.

I have attained my personal training certification and I am now a life/weight loss/fitness coach. This is my passion, my dream, my happiness.

My Program:
I have created an intense workout plan for myself that incorporates Pilates, Kickboxing, Yoga, and basic calisthenics. I use my own created workouts as well as dvds and videos online. I workout 7 days a week because if I take a day off, I will not get back to it. The 7th day is usually a simple stretch day where I do basic stretches or yoga.

As far as eating goes, 95% of my meals are homemade and low sodium. I make sure half my meal is vegetables and the other half is meat and starch. About 60% of our meals are vegetarian, but not on purpose, it's just the way the meals work out.

Monday - Standing Pilates
Tuesday - Kickboxing workout
Wednesday - SP strength workout
Thursday - Standing Pilates
Friday - Kickboxing workout
Saturday - SP strength workout
Sunday - Stretching/Yoga

Extra workouts in and around those above to complete the challenges for which I am committed.
