Hello! Thanks for taking the time to check out my SparkPage. I hope to be healthier by participating in this website. I lost about 45 pounds after my son was born. Since starting working full time in June 2011, I've gained weight back (new stresses, demands, and not as much time to workout). I've been trying to be more accepting of myself, less critical, and focus instead on what I like about myself. I have good days and bad, but I hope to one day just be at peace with my body.

Fitness Minutes: 192,320

My Goals:
To maintain my weight loss and feel good about myself. Weight maintenance range = 137 to 146 pounds, which at 5'5" puts me at a healthy BMI.

My Program:
I try to eat right most days and I also exercise at least 30 minutes Mon.-Fri. in the mornings, and I almost always go for a 20-30 minute walk on my break at work. I alternate between aerobics and strength training, mostly using Jessica Smith TV videos on YouTube. I try to do some form of exercise on weekends, usually walking, biking, golf, yoga or stretching.

Personal Information:
I live in central Wisconsin in a small town I grew up in. I love it here! We get the best of each season, and our little town feels safe - everybody knows everybody.
I have three children (Carissa, 18; Haley 13; Daniel 9). I've been happily married for 16 years to my high school sweetheart, Adam. I teach one-year-olds at a NAEYC accredited childcare center.

Other Information:
I enjoy surfing the web, reading, painting my nails weekly, reading gossip and health mags, and camping.

    Hi Heather! thanks for you comment. and i understand you way too much. i use to be on birth control and antidepressents but i no long take any meds. when i was writing my blog i was thinking this lack of motivation felt like depression but if it was i never would have just done my 2mi video. i get discouraged way to easy. while i was stretching, my muscles ached and i thought to myself how did i let myself go like this? its actually an awful feeling. as far as food, i love it too! my biggest weakness ever. the way i deal with my sweet tooth is through sugar free candy. its sweet but has a different taste than regular candy. plus i know if i eat too much i'm running to the bathroom. maybe that will work for you. give it a try. my favorite is york peppermint patties. they taste the closest. next in line is reese cups. well i need to hit the shower and drop off resumes again! good luck!
