Spark has been a great resource for me as I try to lose weight and adopt a healthy lifestyle. I'm looking forward to meeting new folks and making new friends through the website.

Some of the things I enjoy include traveling, canoeing, walking, fishing, time with family and friends, reading. And... I can't forget to mention, I absolutely LOVE animals (except snakes).

Fitness Minutes: 279

My Goals:
I started in April 2007 needing to lose 30 pounds. I reached my initial goal weight of 150 for a short time. I stayed pretty close to it consistently staying between 148 and 152.

Maintaining proved to be more challenging than the weight loss itself. I have creaped back up on the scale. I now need to lose 15 pounds to get back to the target weight of 150. So.... here I go again.

As of this month (November 2010), I am once again finding the motivation to do what I need to do in order to drop the weight again.


My Program:
Fitness:

Return to walking 3-4 times a week.

Joined a fitness center. I would also like to find a fitness buddy to help me stay motivated.

Increase intake of fruits and veggies.

Diet: I am using spark as a resource. I can't use the spark diet as a whole due to other health problems. However, I find that I am able to incorporate a lot from spark into my overall diet.



Personal Information:
I live in Manhattan Kansas. I have a wide range of interests.

I share my home with Gracie (cat) and Farkel (Cocker Spaniel).
