Welcome to my SparkPage!
So I'm back (for like the four millionth time) - but I cannot stop trying. And here I am. Working on some small behavioral changes.
I was doing well on my own at the start of the pandemic, but things sorta spiraled out of control over the summer and now i'm pretty much back to where I started.
But I don't want to be overweight for the rest of my life. If I don't make some changes, nothing will change.

FIRST "BIG" GOAL: LOSE 50 LBS

SHORT TERM GOAL - MONTHLY
JANUARY:
Lose 1-2 lbs per week (5-8 lbs per month)
High Goal: 8 lbs (226.2); Mid Goal: 6 lbs (228.2); Low Goal: 4 lbs (230.2.)
OTHER WEIGHT LOSS GOALS:
5% TBW = (223.3)
10% TBW = (212)
BMI UNDER 30
BMI UNDER 25
WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE: UNDER 35 inches
MID TERM GOAL (THREE MONTH GOALS)

Goal Date: March 31
Lose 1-2 lbs per week:
High Goal: 24.5 lbs (209.9) Mid Goal: 18.3 lbs (215.9) Low Goal: 12.5 lbs (221.7)
My Program:
I am working to learn my behavioral hangups that contribute to unhealthy eating habits. I have decided to start with a commitment of 12 weeks (ending March 31) doing BistroMD - a complete food/snack delivery service - in order to reset my metabolism, and make some initial headway on my weight loss goals. I know this isn't a long-term solution, but for now getting some of the excess weight off is my priority.
1. Stick to BistroMD menu each week, for 12 weeks.
2. Record my weight every Sunday morning.
3. First Sunday of the month, take photos and measurements.
4. Blog weekly progress reports on Sunday.
5. Incorporate daily exercise.
Personal Information:
I live in Tucson AZ, have two cats, and grow weird succulents. I love to hike, take pictures and dance. I'm learning Spanish and love to practice! I'm an inspiring writer.
Other Information:
My SPARK is that I want be healthy and fit enough to return to the active lifestyle I used to have. I miss that part of life and the Me that thrived off being active.
