So I'm back (for like the four millionth time) - but I cannot stop trying. And here I am. Working on some small behavioral changes.

I was doing well on my own at the start of the pandemic, but things sorta spiraled out of control over the summer and now i'm pretty much back to where I started.

But I don't want to be overweight for the rest of my life. If I don't make some changes, nothing will change.

ULTIMATE GOAL: Reach a healthy BMI
FIRST "BIG" GOAL: LOSE 50 LBS
See below for small and medium-sized goals geared to get me to my *ultimate* goal.

My Program:
I am working to learn my behavioral hangups that contribute to unhealthy eating habits. I have decided to start with a commitment of 12 weeks (ending March 31) doing BistroMD - a complete food/snack delivery service - in order to reset my metabolism, and make some initial headway on my weight loss goals. I know this isn't a long-term solution, but for now getting some of the excess weight off is my priority.
1. Stick to BistroMD menu each week, for 12 weeks.
2. Record my weight every Sunday morning.
3. Once each month, take photos and measurements.
4. Blog weekly progress reports on Sunday.
5. Incorporate daily exercise.

Personal Information:
I live in Tucson AZ, have two cats, and grow weird succulents. I love to hike, take pictures and dance. I'm learning Spanish and love to practice! I'm an inspiring writer.

Other Information:
My SPARK is that I want be healthy and fit enough to return to the active lifestyle I used to have. I miss that part of life and the Me that thrived off being active.

Thanks so much for the comment on my page. The surgery date can't come soon enough--seems like the legs are getting worse, but (and I don't know if I've told you this or not, so forgive me if I'm being repetitive) I decided to do only one knee at a time to lower several risks. All this depends, though, on whether or not I pass the pre-op tests, which are scheduled for March 8. I'm very thankful for modern medicine.

Speaking of which, it was good to read in your blog that you've completed your vaccination and that your parents are halfway there. What a relief!
