Be active daily. Reach a comfortable weight. Check off Bucket List items. Return to Hawai'i and go zip-lining!

#babysteps Drink a minimum of 64 oz/day of water. Write down everything consumed in a day. Ten minutes a day or more of exercise. This time I'm doing this with my sister. We help each other stay on track.

I live in a small town in Northern Michigan. I purposely chose my apartment so I could walk to downtown. I have a beautiful view of the bay and am steps from the bike trail. I just need to pull myself together.

I'm a former dietitian. I can motivate people and help them achieve a weight where they no longer want bariatric surgery. I can't find my own motivation. I'm no longer a dietitian because of lack of job opportunities where I live. But I still get irked when I hear people talk about fad diets and not eating this or that. Some of my best friends are dietitians and encourage a balanced diet with portion control of real food - not diet foods.
