    Harry, to add your walking to your fitness, I've found the best way is to go to the fitness page, (not under my tools), and scroll down to maps. Put in your starting address (I tell it no I do not want to start where it is cause that is actually the middle of the street!) and then track your walk, then go down the page a bit, put in your minutes walked and your weight should be there already, and click on calculate.

    Then, on the bottom right of the map is a link to your fitness page, click on that, a pop up page appears for your fitness, and click add to your fitness. Voila! There is your walk in minutes and calories burned.

    Good luck, let me know if you need a better description or clarification on anything! And get out there and walk with me! (well, I wish!) :-)

    And you will see my weight, on your very own scale! I just got the WW scale for my dad when his Health-O-Meter finally quit after 30 years. I have my WW since last May and I love it!

    I checked out your page and walking will help your heart - 30+ minutes daily according to the AHA.

    But, are you ready, donating blood will also help your blood pressure and cholesterol!! And if you have *tiny veins* a little weight lifting will raise those puppies!!

    I only started doing my Strength Training seriously about a month ago and my veins now pop up! I can give platelets now because they can find my veins so easily after 3 years of donating only whole blood!

    SparkPeople is a very exciting online weight management program and I am loving every minute!

    WTG on rejoining with a renewed sense of commitment!

    You can do this! Find a team or teams that you believe will help you in your journey - but leave any teams that do not help you.

    I'm in upstate NY also, Syracuse, and have been loving the weather since we are putting an addition on our house after a tree fell on it last year. We feel very blessed that we have gotten so much of a break!!!!

    I have been really committed to watching what I eat this holiday time. I decided not to join in our usual cookie baking marathon with family and friends. My husband and I do not need the cholesterol/calories so I passed. Today they divided up the cookies. I went into another room and looked at their beautiful tree instead. Their job was done and I didn't feel deprived at all.
