I'm 67yrs old and a 18 1/2yr breast cancer survivor. I suffer from neuropathy due to Taxol (chemo drug) with pain throughout my body most of this time. Surgery on both knees 27 years ago + bad hip began to limit my exercise ability. Got it replaced on February 15, 2017. Knees will be next but my ortho doc said I can go a couple more years.

I have started and stopped with Sparkpeople so many times over the past several years. Glad it is here when I need some support and friendship.

Thank you so much for telling me about the tragic death of your friend Brian, and your thinking of him when snow fell. How very difficult it must be for his wife, kids and all those in your family/friend group to have lost him so young. I truly believe that if we are just open to it, there are many ways that a person who has passed continues to be in our lives. Your sharing his life with me is but one of the ways that he is living on. I am happy to have had the chance to know a little bit about him.

Thanks for your comment on my Procrastination blog. Yes, I had pieces of paper missing also, and have had to make a few calls. But, we'll get there, won't we?

Thanks for posting on my blog. I have no idea how they pick the blogs to feature - it must have been a slo day.

Unfortunately, my DH buys the quarts - no little cups for him! And he knows my weaknesses!

Thank you for reading and commenting on my blog today about the baby who survived the crash into a river. I had goosebumps, and believe it was the mother protecting her baby also. I wanted so badly to hug the mother and tell her what a good mother she is. Thinking about it brings me to tears.

    Thanks again,
