I'm 67yrs old and a 18 1/2yr breast cancer survivor. I suffer from neuropathy due to Taxol (chemo drug) with pain throughout my body most of this time. Surgery on both knees 27 years ago + bad hip began to limit my exercise ability. Got it replaced on February 15, 2017. Knees will be next but my ortho doc said I can go a couple more years.

I have started and stopped with Sparkpeople so many times over the past several years. Glad it is here when I need some support and friendship.

Found your Spark page. Looks as though you have had more than your share of problems but the important thing is that you are facing them in a positive way, My 10 year old granddaughters went to the renaissance this fall and wore costumes and had so much fun. Continue to enjoy!

Yopu are an inspiration and a reminder to me that fibro can only stop me when I let it! My fibro has progressed in a aggressive manner in the last few years. Not only has it affected many areas of my body but also the joy I use to takie in just living life to the fullest! I'm taking that back and will look at your struggle to remind that no matter what happens to us it is possible to overcome what our bodies hand us if we reach for it!

Hey Gypsy, What is going on in your neck of the woods? Haven't heard from you in quite a while. Hope you've found a cool place to hang out during all this heat.

Hi, I stumbled upon your page by accident. Just wanted to let you know that people who have never met you are sending 'strength vibes' your way. I can relate to a lot - same age, lots of physical pain, divorced even longer, 2 kids (son & daughter - almost the same ages), both married though and I have one grand-daughter and a grandson arriving soon!
    Good luck on your journey.
