Well, I'm back! Haven't been here for over 2 years. I've been a sloth. Due to health problems my exercise routine died and then I got a desk job, my first in 40 years of working. I quickly put on 12 lbs in just a year.

So for the last 6 months I've tried all the old tricks that used to just make fat and weight melt off of me. Well, surprise surprise, none of that worked for me now that I'm postmenopausal. So I floundered with food plans and flirted with exercising but never really "got to it" and so nothing much happened.

Then, a few weeks ago I tried a few new things and Lo and Behold, I'm losing weight again. Halleluiah! I'm once again enjoying daily exercise and week by week am increasing my exercise minutes.


I may never be a 97 lb 11% body fat hot chick again, but I'm confident that my new lifestyle will guide me to a healthier and happier weight and fitness level.

My Goals:
Lose 15 lbs.
Eliminate added sugar from my eating plan completely (80% now)
Firm up, lose the menopause belly


My Program:
1. Clean eating the FITera way for food.
2. Mostly circiut training for exercise, with other stuff like pure cardio (usually dancing) or ABS work thrown in to give me variety and keep my body working in different ways so it doesn't get bored and stop burning fat efficiently.
3. An occasional cheat meal and dessert (such as organic ice cream or organic dark chocolate or healthy black bean/avocado brownies)



Personal Information:
Happily married, work full time in healthcare, have grandkids (18, 13, and 10) and sell paparazzi $5 jewelry on the side. Just living happily ever after with my awesome and wonderfully supportive, handsome hubby Gunn!


Other Information:
I would love to find a buddy in the South King County area who would like to meet a few Saturdays a month to walk, or if the weather is bad do some mall walking. Please reach out to me if you think you need a walking buddy too!

    Not much going on with me. LOL. I'm doing a little better with diet and exercise but not well enough. Our son moved away to Ohio. My dad broke his hip and has Parkinson's. Hubby and I are trying to get a house standby generator installed soon. We still have 3 pets left. We lost the 4 in one year and that has been it but 2 of the ones left have had challenges. What is going on with you?
