I am a large woman working hard to feel better both physically and emotionally. I am over 350 pounds and working on gaining back the mobility I have lost since gaining the last 50 - 75 pounds. I am not interested in what the scale says only how my body feels. I love the water and am attending water aerobics (five times a week) and pilates (three times a week). I have been working on my goals for two months and already see and feel the difference. My clothes are loose and my mobility is greater. I enjoy the way my body feels now that I am eating a diet rich in fruit and veggies. I look forward to supporting others in my position and receiving ideas, feedback and support.

My Program:
I am attending water aerobics five times a week, pilates three times a week eating a diet rich in fruits and veggies, not eating anything with processed sugar and learning to just worry about ho wmy body feels not what the scale says.

    Hi Maryanne, just browsing around and saw your Spark page. When are you going to put a picture in? Or are you like I was, I didn't know how so a friend in my group spent a lot of time doing it for me. Not that I especially like my pict. but it is the best I had, and I'm sitting down so you can't see how heavy I am!! I think you would enjoy our group. We have a lot of fun, but also cheer, or give a lecture to each other when we drop the gun or do well. Actually there is almost no lectures unless it's the kind that says, You're doing great, even if you have gained a pound or two, there's always tomorrow so keep at it.
    I think it's great that you can do the water exercises, that is so good since it doesn't put stress on your body. I did it for a while but had to stop because the water was too cold for me. I need it to be 92 and theirs was 82, though it felt colder to me. I did love it, and wish I could do it again but now I am not able to get around that much. OK didn't mean to write a book.
