Yes, finding this article on "Joan" who is 73 and started exercising at 70 really opened my eyes. I'll be 71 in October and after 3 yrs. my leg has gotten better, but it is still "there" but I want to start doing more weights. I'm buying a Pilates Stability Chair from Marrithew at Target for $1393. I wanted a "gym" quality as there are so many cheap junk ones. I got $1200 from Trump's Covid-19 benefit money, that I'm using it to buy my Pilates chair with no guilt. emoticon
I take a weekly shot of Bydureon, which is a diabetic medication, but my doctor says it prevents osteoporosis. It costs $750 a month but my insurance pays for it and they told me since I've been on it for 3 yrs. they will continue to pay for it, but they are limiting it to new patients who seriously need it. I think all women need it at our age.
I also take Meformin, Acarbose, Progesterone, 4000 IUs D3, Koncentrate K, 3000 mg MSM, Nature Thyroid, Baclofen (for leg cramps at night), Lisinopril (blood pressure) which he says helps save kidneys.

4/12/inspiration/ This article makes a good point. Ernestine S. started working out at 56 and she is 84 now.

I always enjoy your blogs. I have started to blog some again too again. Not sure how it will go. I am going to make some tea soon - Decaffeinated Irish Breakfast Tea - one of my favorites.
