I am retired as of 2 yrs now & on the back side of 60. Retired shouldn't mean tired, but I can say I'm honestly sick & tired of being both! In Jan. I had a huge eye opening experience & recognized I had become too complacent in my marriage, my life & my health. Hating who & what I've made myself be has been my fault through poor choices & decisions. Hating who & what I've made myself be has been my fault through poor choices & decisions. I began at 232 lbs. & at 5'4.5" walking was excruciating (plantar fasciitis) & yrs of ongoing back & neck problems. I was recently given a Fitbit zip & liked it so much I invested in an Alta too. I'm on a journey with a desire to love myself despite me, lol. Walking is currently my primary exercise of choice for now. Certainly it's better than wishing & sitting will ever get me. I understand being consistently steady makes more success than overdoing workouts that cause me to hurt so much I can't workout at all or for days causing failure & loss of motivation. SO just for today in this moment I'm staying the course, God is my pilot & I trust in His will vs mine, I can see where mines gotten me. I'm willing & wanting to see where His will take me instead. Oh & by the way as of this morning I'm at 187 lbs. Woohoo hallelujah!!! My song of inspiration is by TobyMac - Move (Keep Walkin')...Ready set here I go
