I have been away from Spark People for over 2 years, but it just popped back into my head yesterday, and I managed to find my old page. I'm 20 pounds heavier than when I quit, so I have a lot of catch-up work to lose the weight I needed to lose when I started PLUS the extra 20.

We moved back to Texas 2 months ago after living in New Mexico for 13 years, and we have settled into the Houston area (Katy). In the last 6 months I have lost my mother, moved 1100 miles away, and retired! Lots of changes, but life is finally starting to settle down.

I am looking forward to renewing old friendships and making new!

Fitness Minutes: 2,347

My Goals:
I am currently considered obese on the BMI charts, so my goal is to lose enough weight to be within the normal range. I am also beefing up my exercise program so that I can be fit and healthy.

My Program:
I am on Weight Watchers and doing the program online. I get lots of exercise at Life Time Fitness (in Cinco Ranch for those of you in the Houston area). I'm involved in hydro aerobics and Pilates. My husband and I also walk and ride bikes together on the weekends. Portion control is my biggest downfall as I tend to be the Queen of Portion Distortion!

Personal Information:
My husband and I recently got transferred back to Texas after 13 years in New Mexico. We previously lived in the Fort Worth area, and now we are in Houston (Katy to be specific). We are loving being back in the South!

Other Information:
We have three adorable fur babies. The Westies are Toby and Baylee, and my Corgi is Abby. They are a handful, but they return every minute of work on my part with lots of love!
