UPDATE!!!! 6/20/13: CJ is now almost 20 months old!! I am trying to get back from another Spark break during which I became GLUTEN FREE (Feb '13 was a year!) and my stomach issues (I was dx w/ reflux) have disappeared (except when I accidentally have gluten.) I am a bit less than my pre-baby weight (since about 5 1/2 mo post-prego) but things do not look the same...haha....so I need to TONE! The challenge is that I just had foor surgery on 6/17/13 so I am limited as to what exercise I can do, which also gives more more motivation to clean up my eating!

I feel like I eat pretty healthy in the sense I don't eat out very much or eat fast food very often. I try to eat more natural unprocessed foods to be healthier overall.

if you see the +/- in my blogs I try to reflect daily on what I did well & what I can improve upon.

    thank you for the comment! well i don't know exactly what kind of exercise/how often you are doing so it is hard to say, but you will lose the weight, as long as you're consistent just like you said! sometimes the scale doesnt move cuz you're building muscle, but if after a few more weeks your clothes are not looser either, then maybe try and talk it down to 1400... and if you're still hungry eat more veggies! they are always ok to eat emoticon either way you're doing great! another great tool i use is my heart rate monitor so i know pretty accurately how many cals im actually burning .. hope this helps!

    Thanks for the comment! I too am trying to set mini goals. The 2lb a week weight loss is great, but I feel like the weekends always ruin it. I'm taking a new approach. Instead of expecting to drop these 10lbs in a month, I decided that if I lose 5lbs within a month, I'll be happy. I want to be at least 115-116 by May 31. I think that's possible! We can do this!

    Yea, it is hard. I think the only reason I was able to manage was because I knew ahead of time I was going to eat out twice. What I didn't mention is that when we got home I made my friends chocolate chip brownies and had some of those!! lol, but still I was only a tiny bit over my range instead of the potential thousands. One thing that helps is we go out for sushi usually which makes it really easy because there are so many delicious healthy choices (and usually no desserts I like to entice me!) Have a great weekend!!
