Goals accomplished so far:
I shop regular sizes. I can walk up the stairs at the hockey arena easily. I have lost 27 pounds & gone from size 18 to size 12. I am 54% of the way towards my goal weight. My son & I eat much more healthfully.

My Program:
- Take it bit by bit, not all at once.
- Track my food intake.
- Learn positive self talk.
- Walk the dog 1-2x daily.
- Attend Pilates weekly.
- Keep nutritious food at home.
- Eat at least 5 freggies per day.
- Keep my eyes on the prize- to be at a healthy BMI.

When I joined Spark People, I weighed 194 lbs & was a size 18.
(About 4 years before that, I weighed 206 lbs.)
In 2011, with SP, I have lost 27 lbs. I am overweight, not obese & I'm now size 12.

I have been in Mommy mode for a long time & now I'm starting to take good care of me!

    emoticon Please, give yourself grace. You did it once, you can do it again. I believe in you!

    On one stretch I lost almost 30 lbs. It took six long months to do that. Then I was put on some medication, plus ended up with diverticuloses. I put 20+ of those pounds back on in a month.

    I was heartbroken and gave up for quite awhile. You know what? I came back to SP and got the support I needed, and love, too. Slow and steady I go, like a little emoticon . I still have about 25 lbs to go.

    I'm here whenever you need a shoulder, emoticon or a emoticon . You can do this.

    Hope your vacation goes well and you come back refreshed and raring to go. -Bri
