I'm currently a college student, have not been able to find a job yet (it's been over three years since I've worked!), and had to recently move back in with my parents.

Depression's been an issue most of my life, but it's been worse lately--to the point that I find it hard to be interested in my hobbies--but I'm trying to break out of that. I'm also working on getting into recovery for alcoholism.

My main thing I want these days is to learn how to be happy with myself and my life.

Fitness Minutes: 1,621

My Goals:
I would like to lose about 35-40 pounds (I'm about 180--the biggest I've ever been) and to, in general, be healthy and feel good, gain my confidence and well-being back.

I also want to regain the joy I once had in doing yoga and belly dancing on a regular basis.

My Program:
After about 4-6 months of inactivity, I've began taking a summer weight-training class at my college, in order to jump-start my habit of strength training and a little bit of cardio 4x a week (the class is nearly 2 hours long).

I am also slowly getting back into my old habit of walking around the neighborhood for at least an hour every afternoon/evening.

Besides that, I want to change up my eating habits a bit.

Personal Information:
I've moved around quite a bit and got my associate of applied science in biotechnology last year, went to UNT in Denton for a year but had to move back in with my folks here in Temple due to financial reasons.

Other Information:
My favorite things include reading, watching movies, art, crafting (making tsumami kanzashi)--and am interested in herbals, different cultures, travel, natural medicine, yoga, belly dance / oriental dance, natural beauty remedies.
