Ok well I have been a spark member since 2007, but haven't really taken it serious. I guess sometimes you just aren't ready. Now I am ready! I lost 75 lbs when my oldest child was 5 (at that time she was my only child). I kept it off for a while, and then in 2004 I had another child. Gained 50 lbs during preg. As soon as I started trying to get things together I was preg again. In 2005 I had my third (the last two are 1 year and 9 days apart).

So needless to say by this time I had gained all 75 lbs back plus a few extra I must have picked up from someone else. Every few months I would get on this week long kick of eating better and trying to be fit. But it never lasted long. There was always some big event in the kids life that would distract me from my goals.

Now my oldest will be in going to the 6th grade and the youngest two will be in pre-k and kindergarten I have decided that it is time to be healthier not only for me but for my kids.

We have a pretty active household. Everyone in the family plays some sort of sport (the youngest two are getting ready for football, I'm excited). My husband and daughter play softball for travel teams. Then there's me. My sport is taking everyone to there games and events.

I've decided that It's My Time. I love sports (softball my fav). So my goal is to become an active member of my household. I want someone to follow me to a game. That is what I am going to do! Get in shape, and play the game that I love. I got a long way to go, but I know it will be well worth it.

* to have the endurance to play competitive softball again.
* Be more active and play as hard as my kids do.
* Get a six pack (not beer)
* have arms that look like Angela Bassett.


My Program:
Controling portion size, choosing healthier foods, stop the late night snacking.
Get up and get moving everyday.



Personal Information:
I have three beautiful kids, and a loving husband. I LOVE SOFTBALL. I enjoy being outside running and playing. Also love college football.
