Introduction Text 2020 marks my 12th year on Spark People! I found this site way back in 2008 and never left. I can't believe that it was 11 years ago. I have made so many friends here who have helped me on my journey and I thank them so very much. It has helped provide me with a better lifestyle. I have reached my goal weight and now it is a "maintenance" game. Maintaining is a struggle so I need all the help I can get. Good luck to all of you in your quest for a better weight and a better life.

To learn to completely change my lifestyle - to eat healthier, to exercise and to cut down on life's everyday stressors.

Watching what I eat and exercising (mainly walking). Thinking positive thoughts rather than negative ones. Using SP's nutrition and fitness trackers daily.

I try relaxing to good music and I also use meditation. I love Spark People and the great and supportive friends I have met here.

I like to relax to old movies and classic TV comedy shows. I love classic rock but not into hip-hop and rap music nor am I into the majority of the newer TV shows. In fact, I don't watch much TV at all.
