I'm a happily married mom to 5 beautiful children ages 8, 11, 19, 23, and 27, and Grammy to a little princess.

I am an R.N., working 12 hour night shifts at a nearby hospital, Which, can make healthy living a struggle.

After being thin as a child and teen , I started putting on weight in my early 20's.. I was dx'd in 2000 with hashimoto's thyroiditis and PCOS, which makes it a little more difficult to lose. But I'm determined not to let it stop me.

I lost 25 pounds in January 2009, but unfortunately I didn't keep it off. Now I'm giving it another go, and hoping I find the key this time to make it all the way...and for it to last a life time.

Little by little, step by step, I'm going to do it!
