Hello! I am a blessed 28 year old mom, wife, and teacher. I'm just looking to get into the best shape possible for myself and my family. I have a wonderful husband and two awesome little boys under the age of 3 and a half. I was always thin before having my kids. I gained a lot of weight on my second pregnancy and lost about 40+ pounds after the initial baby weight (10 lbs) came off with a lot of hard work. I still have about 10-15 pounds to be back where I was before I had my kids-- but I'm working on it!
I was a long-time Sparkpeople member who just came back. After I had lost the baby weight and 40 pounds, I still had weight to lose. I recently realized... nothing can help me more than Sparkpeople. My biggest hurdle is motivation, and Sparkpeople is extremely motivating!

My Goals:
1. Be healthy and fit for my family. I want to be as active and fit as possible to keep up with my two beautiful boys and my wonderful husband.
2. Show myself that I can have willpower!
3. Workout 3-4x per week and stay under my daily calorie goal.
4. Lose my weight by the time I start back teaching in the fall.

My Program:
-Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
-Getting up & moving more instead of sitting in front of the T.V. so much
-Eating less of what I love (staying under calorie goals)

Personal Information:
Married mother of two; English teacher; musician and singer.

Just for fun, here are my instruments:

& many others I dabble in

Caloric Needs – Plan

Daily calorie needs:
Sedentary: 1650 Lightly Active: 1850 Moderate: 2,000

*I am at a currently lightly active to moderately active activity level. I am counting my calories as if I am lightly active, however, I will achieve to exercise at a moderate to heavy level.

Rounded off weight loss math:

1/per week loss with eating 1200/day. Exercise I complete will make my daily calorie deficit even larger.

If I lose 1-2 pounds a week, I’ll be at my goal weight of 120 pounds in 6-12 weeks.

This would mean by around … late August - the week school starts - to October.

Ready… set… goal, here I come!
