HI hon,, thanks so much for reading my blog,, about my Dad's passing. I am so sorry you have also gone thru this. My Mom passed back in 92,, breast Cancer,, I was 32 at that time,,,,, i wish she was still alive,, i have SO MANY ?'s about getting "older" and wondering what it is she'd tell me. Daddy and I had MANY talks around this,, some which a D may of been embarrassed to talk to with a F,, but he was sooo easy going all of my life,,,, it wasn't hard to talk to him about all things,, of course there are some things a F doesn't go thru, which a M does. She could of helped on those.

I am seeing on ur page,, you have MS,,, does heat bother you much more than the cold? It does my friend,, also named Diane,,,, and I minnic MS, but it's not,, I go from walking up to a mile a day for a few weeks,,, back down to not being able to walk,, hanging onto the wall,, and also using my power chair,,,, and many other things that Diane also goes thru, yet my spinal fluid is clear as a bell,, so my neuro just "doesn't want to go thru more testings. Just accept it" type of thing,, and now refuses to see me, though I also have neuropathy,, usually a neuro does follow that, but I am back to my reg MD for it,,, and I had surg for it in Nov,, from a foot Dr,,, did a GREAT JOB with it,, now my left leg hardly gets that HORRIBLE feeling in it,,, and my right leg has always been better,,, I was able to go from 9 meds a day for it, down to 3 ! WOOHOOO !!! My Dad also had it,,,, a brother has Reckless Leg Syndrome,,,, he may easily as time goes by,, also get neuro. He and My Dad ,,, myself all have diabetes,,, yet the neuropathy is NOT from it. It's just passed along from one member to the next generation etc.

    Ty so much again.

Fishgut, thanks for reading the blog -- and how did you ever come up with a name like that? emoticon -- it can be very frustrating to keep losing that same 2 to 5 pounds. Yet that is exactly what we are doing when we continually let the temptations get to us. And what a waste of time it all boils down to. Next week, or next month, what difference will it make if we skipped eating a piece of birthday cake? Of course let's say we DID eat it, next week it might still be with us. lol

    Hugs, Eve
