Welcome to my page!

Since April of this year, I have decided to take my life back and lose the weight that I need to lose in order to feel good and be medically healthy. Since I started, I have lost 43 pounds and feel wonderful. I have lost almost two inches in my waist as well as inches all over my body. I still need to lose more in my face and neck, but this will come in time. Three months ago, I was obese, unhappy, very unhealthy, eating whatever I wanted, and getting very hopeless. I have to credit my wife for inspiring me to start and we decided to do it together.

Fitness Minutes: 7,332

My Goals:
To lose 30 pounds

To establish a working Healthstyle through training and healthy eating,

Develop my mindfullness skills.

Integrate wellness into my counseling practice.

My Program:
It will always be important for me to log my food, and use my support network to talk about how I am doing.

The core belief is that food will make me feel good, high, but forget how unmanageable it makes my life. I need to continue to prevent impulsive eating, especially at night.

Personal Information:
I am from a small town in Connecticut called Wallingford. Been here all of my life and live in the same house I grew up in.

Married to Nancy, and have two girls, Heaher 14 and Sarah 12. I know, good luck right!

I work as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor for the past 16 years and recently started a private practice in Cheshire, CT called Creative Counseling Center. Things are going slow and steady.

Pet peeves: negative people, partisan politics, dishonesty, know it alls, people who drive 55 in the left lane of the highway and never move. LOL, oh, and Farmville.

Other Information:
I love gardening, cooking, learning, reading, spending time with my wife and children, b eing a therapist.

Also, can't live without music, crossword puzzles, my incredible dog Zac, and old movies.

Learning and growing in the art of therapy.

So happy to see you are doing great on the hCG Diet. Sparks doesn't approve of the diet AT ALL, so they made our hCG Support Group Team be Private. If you want to join, I'll let the leader know. We have been here for over four years. There is also a group on Facebook, and of course, all those on YouTube, like DELMEM, MsHCGgirl, HCGcharm, MAMACLOK and HCGDietRevealed who have had great success with the protocol.

I follow www.drfitt.com as Roby Mitchell, M.D. uses the diet for his patients along with hormone therapy as he says most of us have ours out of balance. He is a grad of Texas Tech & has a PhD.

Well, I got an email alert that you had checked in. I am about 30 pounds overweight, and perpetually on the verge of going to the gym and logging my food again. Its good to see you are trying to do some self care again. Check back in, and maybe we can inspire one another.

Hello there. I am also on the Ct. spark team. I noticed you came in in the top 5 for fitness minutes and spark points. Awesome job. Just wanted to stop by and give you a thumbs up for all your hard work.
