    I started dieting at the beginning of this year, and I guess I was just sick of feeling so run down all the time. I've lost about 20 pounds, but would like to lose another 10-15. Lifetime fitness, wow. That place is EXPENSIVE! That lakeville one looks so nice though! With the outdoor pool and waterslides, right? Maybe I could get a guest pass. Walking is a good start. The most important thing you can do for yourself when trying to lose weight, is count calories. Spark has great food plans, after a couple days I didn't feel hungry anymore, and I was staying within my calorie range. Trust me, I used to run 20-30 miles a week, and I thought I could eat whatever I wanted because of this. NOT TRUE!!! I am a real life example of someone who gained weight while exercizing about 1-2 hours per day! Exercise helps a little, but eating right is number one! If you want to meet up and work out, that would be great. I live in Apple Valley. I just recently injured myself, and doc told me to stay off my knee for awhile. I have to start physical therapy on june 3, but I could probably do some yoga or strength training, or swimming. Stay motivated!! Read some motivational quotes. Sounds lame, but works!

    Hi, my name is Laura, and I'm from Apple Valley. I saw that you were looking for a spark buddy in one of your posts. Someone to drag you to the gym? What gym do you go to? What town do you live in? I have a membership at LA Fitness here in Apple Valley. I'm normally a runner, but recently I injured my knee and need to take some time off from running. I should be back on track pretty quick. I am married and have a 5 year old son. I work in medical records, and sit around at a computer at work. Time to start moving! What do you like to do at the gym?
