I am not doing the right things.

I am not buying the right foods.
I sure as heck am not eating the right foods.
Not drinking the amount of water that I should.
I am not exercising.

I am struggling, but I am not doing the right things to help myself.
I have to get my head in gear because my food issues are writing cheques that my butt can’t cover.

Life is too short not to live it to its fullest.

THE END.

    Hello my friend!
Thank you for the Spark Goodie! I am sorry that the news about Nicole is not better. I am glad that you have made peace with her situation and know that she is dying. That is so hard and I pray for you and your family nightly for peace and goodwill and that Nicole is not in pain. My mom is holding steady and her lungs are looking pretty good so she is doing OK considering she is terminal. I am hoping and praying that she will outlive their diagnosis of 3 years. At the rate she is going, she should well outlive it, but she is weak and can't do much. Any outing she goes on knocks her down for about a week. It's hard to watch, but it's something I've come to terms with.
How are your grandkids doing with Nicole's situation? Will they come to live with you once she is gone? I know that sounds like a harsh question, but it is a reality and it is something that has to be considered. She is lucky to have you as parents and I am so sorry that she is going to have to go this way. Hospice is probably a good option at this time and she knows her body better than anyone. It's good that she is thinking of these things and doesn't want to suffer or put anyone out. If I were in her shoes, I think I would want to die at home too. I don't know if you know another lady on the boards who's name is Starr and her screen name is Teenysmom, but she is going through a similar situation with her husband right now. He contracted a disease while serving in Afghanistan and it caused him to lose the ability to move and he was in a wheelchair and he had to have help eating and going to the bathroom, bathing, etc. Then he was just recently diagnosed with late stage Lou Gherig's disease. He has taken a quick turn for the worse and now is completely bedridden and can only barely move his eyes only and is on hospice. It is only a matter of time before he is gone. I feel so horrible for my friend. There is nothing I can do but listen and be a friend to her.
If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. I will continue to pray daily for your family and you will be in my thoughts. You are a good friend and I'm sorry you're having to suffer like this. I hope Nicole is not suffering and I hope her death will be peaceful. God bless you and your family and I hope to hear from you again soon!
    Hugs and kisses, Lauri
