In Search of Me!
Hi, I'm Kim. I'm setting up this page so I can hopefully be inspired and to hold myself accountable to lose weight and keep the weight off. I'm also here to find good healthy recipes so I'll be inspired to cook more. I hope to find the secret to why I find food so mysterious. I need to find exercise that excites me. I'm tired of boring exercise. I want it to be fun and less tedious. Something I look forward to instead of dreading. Maybe I'm asking for a lot, but I doubt it.

My Goals:
Ideally I'd like to lose about 100 lbs. I'm not going by numbers so much, I'm going by how I look and feel.
My Program:
I don't have a program per se. I'm simply watching what I eat, portion control, and exercise.
Personal Information:
I live in California with my 4 kids. I've been battling with my weight since my first pregnancy. I was young and naive thinking all the weight I gained was baby weight and I'd lose it once the baby was born. Instead, I just added more with each baby. A common story among women, I'm sure. I was recently diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, which makes losing weight even harder.
Other Information:
I love to read, which is part of my problem. I'd rather be reading than exercising. Food confuses me. I know the "good food" from the "bad food", mostly. I'm trying to find good substitues for bad food. Portion sizes leave me puzzled. Who knew food was so difficult. Add in an eating disorder and it's a recipe for disaster and weight issues.
