Hi. I have a LOT of weight to lose, and my bestest friend recommended this website. She is getting healthier because of it, and basically, I'm so jealous! :)

I am disabled with Lupus and a whole list of illnesses. This makes exercise challenging. But I can't wait to learn to cook healthy!

Fitness Minutes: 10

My Goals:
I haven't really nailed down my goals yet...but here are a few off the top of my head:

1. feel healthier
2. reduce my surgery risk so I can get my knee replaced, for starters
3. increase my mobility
4. be able to fit in an airplane seat, and buckle the seatbelt!

More as I think of them.


My Program:
The first change I am implementing when possible is an all=protein breakfast. One of my previous doctors had suggested it and I had lost a significant amount of weight with just that one little change!



Personal Information:
I am a yankee cajun. Go figure that out, lol.

My life consists of being on disability due to lupus, fibromyalgia, bipolar disorder, anxiety/panic, antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APS), meneire's disease, advance osteoarthritis, high blood pressure, hypoglycemia, GERD (reflux), sleep apnea, asthma, etc. I've only listed the ones that I deal with on a daily basis. I take more meds than any of my primary doc's other patients.
I'm also caregiver to my aunt (full-time care for her alzheimer's), my dad (dementia), and others as needed.

Do you see why I need to fix this body? :)


Other Information:
I am a Christian, thank God. He gives me strength and carries me, comforts me, shields me, provides for me, and so much more.

I'm obsessed with:

1. Sci-fi (not horror or paranormal!)

2. Cityville on Facebook

3. Pizza and ice cream

I've been writing a book for a few years, waiting for the inspiration to close it out, and I think I'm there! It's a memoir starting from my suicide attempt, and I hope it will help others!
