Basically I have been overweight since I hit puberty! Had my first daughter when I was 14 and gained about 80 pounds with her due to preeclampsia. That put me at 200 pounds even for my Freshman year. After meeting my husband in 2005, I weighed about 230 pounds and after giving birth to my second daughter in 2006, I reached 300 pounds in 2008. Then in March 2010, THIS YEAR, I decided to face the truth and go to a diet doctor. I was crushed to find out I weighed 320 pounds...the most I have EVER weighed!! I got serious with cardio and food intake, and have currently lost about 60 pounds from March to July! I've been taking it reaaal easy for the past few weeks and I need to bump it up hardcore again so I can fit into my bridesmaids dress for my sister in law's wedding in October!! I can get it on but it is very snug and only zips about halfway!! lol...hopefully 15-20 pounds will make it JUST RIGHT!! Anyways I am getting into sparkpeople for some extra encouragement and tips!!! My goal weight is 160 pounds by July 2011, my 5th anniversary is on the 3rd and I want my hubby to see me like he's NEVER seen me before! And he's never seen me any less than 230 pounds!! My Goals:
To get under 250 FIRST! Then to get under 230...then to be under 200, which I haven't been in almost 10 years! I have NEVER worn shorts in public even when I was in middle and high school because I hate my legs. I have spent too many summers in blue jeans and NEXT summer I wanna be in SHORTS!


My Program:
Doing cardio on the elliptical, bike, and treadmill, richard simmons dvd, some basic weight training, swimming, diet control, and LOTS of water!!

    Welcome to Spark.... This site is amazing bc it has so many tools that will help you, and the people here are amazingly kind, genuine and supportive.... Once you learn your way around you could join a few teams and make friends to get your support structure in place... then just work the program, use your tracker daily for everything and do all the things you can to get your Sparkpoints. The more you are here the more you will learn and the more connected and invested you will become.
