My name is Whitney. I am a 29 year old stay-at-home mom to a 6 year old. I started gaining weight once I graduated high school. I wasn't paying attention to, nor did I know anything about, calorie consumption. I had gotten to where all I wanted to eat was chips, candy bars, and drink nothing but soda. Before I knew it I had packed on 50-60 pounds. None of my clothes fit and I was getting depressed. I didn''t know what to do because my lack of knowledge when it came to eating the right things and exercising. I was lost. My "Ah Ha" moment came after I gave birth to my daughter. I was 249 after having her and I wasn''t having it. I let myself heal (in this time I found SP!) and then when I was able I started working out and trying to eat better. In the first year I lost 50 pounds! I was excited. I got down to 197 but unfortunately I am now back up to 231. ☹️ So I decided to make a fitness and health journal to keep me on track, for good this time! My overall goal is to get down to 160. I could use any advice, motivation, or pointers you may have. I'm ready to do this! So join me and let's help motivate each other!!
