    Hi there,
Good to see you back. Have been wondering about you lately.
No we do not have a dog other than our Grand puppy who is turning 5 years! We have her here just now visiting while our kids are off visiting Toronto for a few days. We love having her around.
I am still busy at home and going to Tai Chi classes most weeks.Still golfing in between the rain storms. I have been trying to stay ahead of the weeds in both flower beds and veggie garden.
Glad to see you back. The new system does take a little getting use to.
    take care,Erin

It is so good to hear from you.It must feel good to be able to get back doing things you were not able to do for a while.
We do put in a small vegetable garden.Tomatoes, peppers beets a few potatoes ,green onions and garlic. We have to put a fence around everything except for the garlic as the deer love the garden. Last year was the first time in years that I could get down and weed the garden...not that I like weeding.
I am back to doing most everything I did before.Just not doing any running but I never really ran before the HR. I did not try X-country skiing this past winter.Golf is good,Tai Chi helps with the balance ,flexibility and stretching .I can even get up and dance!!!
Great to have coffee with you!
We will have to do it again.
    Take care,
    Erin

Hi Susan. Not too sure if you will see this or not for a while.
I have been meaning to reply but I get busy and think I'll write a little later.....here I am!
How are you & Mattie doing with her classes?I wish we had another puppy at times and we have turned down a few but we do have Jason's dog,Keeva, to watch and spoil as well as the dog that lives next store.
I had my final check up at the hospital with a team member,he is a physio guy and if he notices anything that he does not like then you see the doctor.I had an x-ray and everything was fine with it.So I get to see him again next year so they can keep an eye on things.
He was saying that golf was fine (as long as I did not carry my clubs!!! like I was going to be doing that)as was walking ,biking, swimming& hiking . Running was not a good idea and they do not encourage it at all. He said they want to caution people on playing "singles" in tennis , badminton and racket ball.Doubles was allowable if you are experienced and had played more than once or twice.i guess it has to do with the twisting and turning that takes place with those sports.
I was lucky and both my legs are the same length.... guess his laser was working well that day.I have worn heels for good only a few times but I find the wedge heels are the best for me. I had never worn them before we went on the cruise and found them comfortable and even with a little sway from the ship did not loose my balance and I really thought that I would.
I hope you have had a good summer so far and continue to enjoy Mattie....I'd love to see some pictures.
Take care and enjoy the summer and family.

    Hi Susan,
Well, I guess you are home safe and sound. Did you get your new dog from Saskatoon? You are going to have post a few pictures if you do. How are you doing?
If we were not traveling then we would get another dog. For now we will spoil our "grand puppy" and our friendly neighbor. Our neighbor dog (a very large golden retriever)loves to go on walks with us.
We are keeping busy catching up on our yard work as we have been away for a month and everything just bloomed while we were away.
Yesterday we managed to get most of the vegetable garden in and I hope to get the hanging baskets done this afternoon after the rain stops.
I am back golfing now and it feels great! I was afraid after my hip surgery I would be hitting the ball all over the place.....but the ball is going fairly straight and the distance is good.
Give a shout back when you get a chance.
    Take care,
    Erin
