Hi everyone! I'm 45 & very tired of failing at dieting- I am currently bigger than I've ever been and ready to make a change. I am thrilled to have found this site (by accident). I am married and mom of 3 (17,12,10). I'm coming to realize that I am a caretaker of everyone and everything else and it's time I take care of myself first for once. I'm tired of embarrassing my family and want to feel good again too! I am very motivated and this will be my year!!!!

My Goals:
Drink more water
no junk food
learn healthier choices
measure all food
enter food each day
start exercising-anything
is better than before!!!
Don't give up
Watch self get skinny and

My Program:
I've never been a breakfast eater and I eat most of my calories at the end of the day, not enough h2o and exercise.
Making self eat good breakfast, eat more earlier in day, less after 8.
Drink more h2o and start any kind of exercise. Also, stop eating when bored or stressed!

Personal Information:
I am originally from a inner ring suburban city, recently moved to 5 acres in small rural town.
Learning to stop and enjoy life. Would be easier if thin. Starting a new life since last 15 years has been very stressful. I lost both parents to cancer, had 3 children + lost one, had surgery for cervical cancer and later a hysterectomy. I'm a nurse,(just more caretaking of others!) I always was very thin until I started having kids.
(they are 13,8,6) Gradually got worse and worse.

Other Information:
I love music and recently began playing guitar hero and rockband with my kids-we have a blast! Can't play any real instruments-but that's o.k. I occassionally like to read if I have time- love Stephen King and also the Left Behind series.

    HI! Thanks for your note. I too am trying to get back on track. I had lost 50 pounds and now gained back around 10. UGH! Well ya know it was the holidays. So now I am back and ready to get back to business. I did go to my class reunion last summer and it was not worth the stress of losing weight. There was only 1 person there that I even cared about and she was my size lol. She and I could have got together over lunch and it would have been better.
