I an re-jumping into this journey. Been here quite awhile now and it's time to make the changes I've been dragging my feet on, especially the weight loss. Isn't it funny that something we want so bad, we don't always do what we need to do? I'm tired of being the "fat aunt" and it's time to get moving. Life is getting shorter and shorter and I need to stop hiding behind this weight.

I'm still single - anyone have a spare man I can borrow? I don't want to keep them just need someone to drive so I can enjoy the scenery! I am a professional who is burned out at my job but have been there 22 years and it's hard to leave. So I will make the best with what I have but keep my eyes opened for better opportunities. Or win the Powerball!

I believe in being positive - it makes the day so much better. The glass IS half full! And on most days the glass is running over!

Fitness Minutes: 153,737

My Goals:
Lose 2 to 3 pounds per week.

I have detailed steps that I will get posted as soon as I get them all down and clearly written.

LOL to get my detailed steps written out before the end of 2012.


My Program:
Reducing eating out and slowly weaning myself off of chocolate and sweet tea. Making a conscious effort of what goes into my mouth. I'm not following a set program (yet) but am for now focusing on moderation with exercise.



Personal Information:
Live in a town south of Omaha. Divorced but it was almost decades ago. No children but have 3 nephews and a wonderful niece. Am very proud of all of them.

I like to golf, travel and enjoying digging around in my flower pots - it's therapy!

Favorite Book: To Kill a Mockingbird

Favorite Movie: Apollo 13, The Bear, Ice Age (cracks me up)

Enjoy early American History - what a great country we built on the work of hard men and women!

Love to travel and especially up in the mountains. I've been to Yellowstone 13 times and can't get enough. I also like to visit old historical battlefields.

    I appreciate the check-in! Last week was sooooo not my best, as my weekly weigh-in will attest: up almost 1 lb. But I know where I went wrong, mostly, it was laziness on my part.
    I went on a 5 mile hike yesterday, so that was good, and I will just go into this week TRYING my hardest to drink more water and not be lazy. I can do the exercise, I can!

    Oh my goodness, here I was feeling sorry for myself for dragging my butt to 5:00 a.m. cardio ball at the gym LOL...sounds like you had a busy day, but still make room for your exercise. Good for you for taking charge of your time!!!

    Think about this: We can do one small thing today that will change all of our tomorrows. What will you change that will help bring you closer to your goal? For me, I'm planning to get to bed before 11 pm so I can get up early enough for a relaxed workout.
