The challenge to be your ideal weight is a ride at any age. I have struggled with it my whole life. It wasn't near as hard when I was younger as it is at 50! If you're still young, work hard at it. If your older, be persistent. The reward is so worth it! I'm pretty sure I have emphysema (I quit smoking last year after 35 years) and I now run 2-3 miles every day. I work at a hardware store, on my feet 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, walking, lifting, bending, carrying, and my back kills me - but I still run - because I feel better after doing it! I run in the snow and rain and heat. I now crave running - as hard as it is to breath! I'm now losing weight after 3 months and SparkPeople (You HAVE to track what you eat!)The weight may come off slow - but at least it's coming off! Be good to yourself! 3848 days ago
