Weight has always been a battle for me and Spark has been a helpful place to keep me focused on my health journey. It does help having others who truly understand how hard this really can be and I love my SP teams and friends!

Fitness Minutes: 94,262

My Goals:
5% Challenge: Make the 5% mark during the fall challenge!
Ditch the Dr. Pepper!

My Program:
Fitness at home. (Body weight strength/core. Wii Fit. Cardio.... still working on this due to knee injury.)

Nutrition: Working towards "clean" eating the majority of the time. Current nutritional change that is needed is: *Dr. Pepper has to go!

*build some "me time" into things (reading, cross-stitch, an evening out...)

*personal bible study time

Personal Information:
A 59 year old stay-at-home mom to a daughter (18) and son(16). I have been married to my hubby for 38 years as of 10/9/20. My son has autism so I spend lots of time advocating for him with teachers at school. My daughter is a licensed cosmetologist and while trying to get started in her own salon she works to pay bills.

I work from home part-time as a Support Broker. This means I support families with their documentation and budget monitoring for the funds qualified for through Health & Welfare to assist their special needs.

I am a Wellness Advocate for doTerra Essential Oils. I am a casual sharer...not currently out there pushing the business side!

basset hound: Ellsworth (he's about 13 and is mostly deaf and sight seems to be going)
pug/terrier/border mix: Auggie (apx 6)

    Janet - thanks for stopping by my blog... here watch this about zumba

    You can google zumba on YouTube and see tons of videos on it... some are very high cardio but my Zumba instructor says there are 3 rules... 1) have fun AND laugh 2) sweat 3) don't get hurt... Some of the moves are a little wild but everyone is doing it so, so what! It is totally fun! Do what you can and keep moving!

    We were doing Switched on Schol house but now we are going to go to more Charolotte Mason style learning. We are going to keep the Math and Bible with Switched on School house but focus more on getting the kids reading stronger.

    Don't believe I've visited your page before (you know how busy us Mommies are! LOL) Your tea party pic reminded me of one I did for my oldest DD years ago - Alice in Wonderland theme. What fun!!! Best of luck on reaching those goals.
