Weight has always been a battle for me and Spark has been a helpful place to keep me focused on my health journey. It does help having others who truly understand how hard this really can be and I love my SP teams and friends!

She will be 18 about the same time.
She's Changes! I am no longer homeschooling my son as he wants to go to high school. That is complicated by his autism so I know I'll be spending time with the special needs staff. Daughter is a high school graduate and working 20-30/hours a week.

I also work from home part-time as a Support Broker. This means I support families with their documentation and budget monitoring for the funds qualified for through Health & Welfare to assist their special needs.

Hi Janet: How was the movie? I think it is great that you have time alone with your husband. We are never alone since we don't have family here...but it is OK. I am used to it. We did get to go see the Harry Potter film in 2007. We were on Long Island and we left Nason with his grandparents. It was the strangest feeling not to have a baby with me!

You know, we would drive the Mom's crazy putting up fake pots of gold! It was fun today though!

My goodness Janet! I had this happen to our family in 2003. Our cat, Boris needed to "Cross the Rainbow Bridge" on July 1st and by July 4th our yellow male lab had these huge lumps in his throat. Stupid me thought he had a cold! He had lympomia and we had six weeks with him before we had to let him go too. I still cry over my lost Tug Boat. I am crying for you now. emoticon . My Katie, female yellow lab is 10 and a half. She has bad hips too and every day with her is always joyful because I don't know how many days we have left. Katie is special because she was my 1st wedding anniversary gift. One day my husband brought me to the mall to look for tools and mentioned stopping in the pet shop. We did that a lot. He brings me to the back of the store where two yellow lab pups are in cages. He points to the female lab which had a "sold" sign on her cage. He says to me, "what about this one?". I say, "she is already sold" and he says, "but guess to whom!". I was sobbing as they handed her to me. It was like being handed a child. She is "Mommy's baby girl" and Katie knows it too!

I am sorry that you and your family are going through this. We bought a black male lab two months later because we were so heartbroken over our lost male lab. Nitro is our new addition. Their pictures are in my gallery.

Visit www.petloss.com when you can. You will cry a lot. I left messages for my lost dogs in 2003 and still cry when I read them.

We are here for you too. Please keep us posted. emoticon
