Board Posts 59 year old female that has been working on this since February 2008. Have lost 35 pounds and going to the gym is something I look forward to...great stress reliever but I couldn't do it without my IPOD...and trainer.
Three daughter that just graduated college in December, a son that is a senior in college and we our youngest is in his sophmore year at the same university. I have a terrific husband who is very supportive ...he works out a lot and knows the addiction.

I'll never go back to where I was in 2008!

Fitness Minutes: 64,340

My Goals:
After keeping under 140 for a couple years, I am now up to 146. No bueno.
Stressful autumn but not going to let that be an excuse. Number one goal is to remain healthy and number two goal is to get lean. Won't even mess with a specific number on the scale.

My Program:
I strength train with free weights 3x a week. I work out with a trainer but I only meet with him about every 4-5 weeks to change sets, touch base and check form. I do spin class 2-3 times a week.
I jump rope for at least 10 minutes (still working on building up endurance on that one) No, I cannot jump for ten minutes straight.
I use a stationary bike or the elliptical.
I take pilates/yoga once or twice a week.

I journal my food but have gotten kind of lazy and will be back on track starting today.

Personal Information:
I am fromTulsa, Ok but I grew up in Ohio and lived in Connecticut for a while.
We have three children.
I teach the gifted and talented program at a public elementary school.
