Hi there! Thank you for the lovely comments on my ‘squats’ and ‘shhhh’ blogs. Good news so far about hubby’s surgery, Margaret; I do hope it all continues to go well for him, grumpy doctor or not! 15 hours ago

Hi Margaret glad it's going well, very reassuring for you. Pete's fine hun. he's got a CT scan coming up, a regular check for him now with all his ailments, bless him. Fingers crossed eh?
Take care, and remember if you need an ear...............................

Margaret, thank you for the message. Oh my--this is a tough morning for you. I do hope the surgery goes well and you'll get good news when it's over. Sorry to hear about the grumpy doctor. That's a spirit-dampener, but I hope when you unleash your charms on him, he'll brighten up a bit. I've encountered a couple of hostile doctors here over the years, who really seemed to dislike their jobs and patients. I hope the defective bedside manner is made up for in surgical skill!
Just this morning, I changed from double-knee replacement to doing the knees one at a time. After informing a few people of my intention to do two at once, I got some cautionary tales, which led to a little research on my part (should have done it sooner but was scared), which led to alarm, which led to an email to my doctor, which led to an immediate reply of "Okay"! I'm fortunate to be blessed with a very cheerful, positive, experienced team leader. When I let myself think about the surgery, I'm a little nervous, so I just try to focus on what will come afterward--renewed mobility and wellbeing.
That's wonderful about Cathy! Such good news!
Keep me posted about Shiro-san. Take care. 23 hours ago

I am so glad you can see your husband in the hospital. I know that soothed my mind a great deal when my DS had his spinal surgery in November.
