I've been away from Spark People for quite sometime. I recently received an email from Spark saying they missed me and it seemed weird but I was missing spark people also. Of course it's the new year and time for resolutions. I never list losing weight as one of my resolutions but hopefully it comes along with the choices I make this year. My first goal is to start eating right. I was always athletic and thin growing up and never had to watch what I ate, therefore I never really knew how to eat healthy even when I was very thin. I'm horrible about actually eating becuase of all the confusion about how to lose weight. No matter what people know about you they always think you just need to eat less, but in my case I was barely eating at all and I have been gaining weight like crazy. I was working out like you wouldn't believe but without any fuel for my body and I could feel it, but I would push through. I thought the more my stomach growled the better that was but I was wrapped up in what other people thought about me eating. How could I eat more than once and day and lose weight. Well now I'm back with Spark and in 2011 I'm going to take charge of my own life and get myself back on track!!! I have two beautiful daughters and I want to teach them a healthy living style. So after all that my first goal is to eat not only my 3 meals a day but to also add in my healthy snacks. I am also going to add more veggies to my diet and be aware of what is going into my body. I plan on continuing my workouts but I am going to work on mainintaining my heart rate and working out in my target heart rate and I'm going to add weight training into my routine. I'm very excited and looking forward to 2011.

My Goals:
Bring my lunch to work daily
Stay positive - Don't get discouraged, it takes time.

Make healthier choices when eating out.

Eat my meals and snacks and be aware of what is going into my mouth!

Make sure I eat at least to my mimimum calories daily! (I'm an undereater)

Eat more veggies daily!

NOT one negative comment about myself! - By far going to be my hardest goal.

I will continue to go to the gym a minimum of 3X a week (4X if work permits).

Do not be afraid to weigh in or measure my body for progress.

Journal my thoughts and feelings (especially on weigh in day).


My Program:
I am giong to NOT give up on myself. I will treat myself the way I would treat others. I will compliment myself and I will work hard and harder to get what I want!
I will talk to others to get inspiration and motivation. I will make new friends along the way. I will continue to wokout daily. I will not use excuses. I will try new things (including new foods).



Personal Information:
I live in San Antonio...Home of the Spurs and winner (pretty high on the list) of the fattest city's in the US. I was always very athletic growing up and I want to get back to that. I don't want to feel tired, depressed or drained anymore.
