Turned 41 years old & my blood pressure creeping up and unhappy with what I see in the mirror. I have a husband of 15 years, 2 boys and career and I want to be a healthy and fit wife & mom. I have always had a slight weight problem, but now it has gotten out of hand. Really want to like what I see when I try on new clothes. Feeling motivated, really excited about what's to come.

My Goals:
As of today, I have lost 12lbs. I want to lose at least 20 more lbs by 20 April 2011.


My Program:
N.E.W.S.T.A.R.T.
N = nutrition
E= exercise
W=water
S=sun

in moderation it's great for us.
T=temperance
A=air , get outdoors !
R=rest, yes we do need it
T= trust in god

Never give up...JUST DO IT!

1. This is a lifestyle change, not a diet for a few months,
2. Don't beat yourself up over one bad meal, day, week or even month. DO NOT use it as an excuse to just give up completely. No one is perfect,

Do you FEEL better? Do you have a more positive image about your body?

Are you able to do things you were unable to do before you made the commitment to live a healthier lifestyle?

Why are you making the commitment to a more healthy lifestyle? Is it because you want to feel better or is it to impress someone else? Never commit yourself to a goal due to someone else's ideas of who/what you are!

Drink plenty of water, exercise early in the morning before you come up with excuses not to, vary workouts, don't stress over not losing a lot of weight soon - it should be a lifelong change, be consistent and it will bring great results over time.
