I've been on and off of Spark since 2008. At first, I did really well and stuck to tracking my food and exercise. The past six years though have been a different story as you can see by my picture timeline!

Now it is November, 2016 and I am starting over yet again! When I looked at the pictures from my son's wedding in October, I had a big wake up call. I need to do this for me and get serious.

Fitness Minutes: 45,275

My Goals:
My goals are to be healthy, reach 50 (it's coming up fast!), be around till 80. I am trying to exercise daily, even if it's only walking a few miles.



My Program:
Eat right, log everything that goes in my mouth, and get my body moving.



Personal Information:
I lived in Southern New Jersey and was always a total beach bum until March, 2013 when I moved to VT. We traded in the beach for mountains and snow! We spent 2.5 years in VT and tried out SC for a brief 6 months. That made me realize I'm not a Southerner! Now we are settled back in New England and living in CT.


Other Information:
I am an avid reader and am always looking for a new book.

    I ordered the Food Lovers Diet and it seems like an easy diet to follow overall. Plus I have been logging into Sparkpeople-tracking my food and my carbs are lower but protien is higher. I sample day: egg whites and veggies for breakfast, a subway chicken-spinach salad for lunch, meat potato and another veggie for supper along with yogurt, cottage cheese, soy protien as snacks. I do eat out 1x per week for breakfast and if I eat out for supper I make 2 meals out of it. I notice I dont eat bread and potatoes at the same meal anymore except for my breakfast out. Let me know how you are doing. emoticon

    I go back on the 25th and the kids start on the 29th---so you have another week longer than we do---but I am ready to go back

    When do you got back to school? I don't have to go back til the 25th but teachers have to go on the 22. I am ready to go back but looking forward to the 2 weeks til then.
