    Thank you for your support!! I have three kids and after the second on the pounds stayed and didn't go anywhere. I am new to Spark People my friend Misty asked if I wanted to try it with her. So far I like this site and love the support from everyone.

    Hi Dawn, emoticon to Spark people. I use the trackers. One for nutrition where you can keep track of everything you eat. I have all of my food in there. You will be able to find out everything you put in your mouth. That keeps you knowing just how much you eat in a day.
    Portion control is the only way to go to take the weight off with food.
    Without enough exercise there is not going to be a good weight loss. The trackers go together to lose weight and you will have more energy and a healthier lifestyle to look after those kids and your DH. I hope you and your friend will be able to set up. I am much older than you and I found it not too hard. I imagine the two of you will be able to get to it ASAP. emoticon
    There is a book and they are in most libraries. emoticon
