I have recently lost 56 lbs and plan to keep it off. I hope to be able to run 5 miles without stopping. (I am up to 3 already). My goal is to be healthy so that I can enjoy my grandkids and actually play with them. My oldest son is in the army, and I have 2 teens still at home.

    Not sure if I'm doing the "comment" thing correctly (!) But I happened to see your response to "feeling like you don't belong..." and was moved to write to you. Definitely related to that blog and found many responses abt having felt "alone" from the time of a difficult childhood. Particularly related to your comment abt your mother and inability to relate at present -I feel the same way. Also had a difficult mother who I never felt accepted me/acknowledged me and also feel unacknowledged at present when in social situations. If you look at the rest of the comments, there's a similar theme in many of them.
