Cynthia, Thanks for stopping by my blog. You are so right about the "realness" of it. The scale keeps me in check. In the past, I would have stopped weighing and the weight would have just kept coming back on and I would have ignored it. Not this time, I won't let it happen again. Hope the meeting at work went well! Noreen

Thank You for your comment and questions on my TRaining blog. When I started running just about 1 year ago. I did the couch to 5K. I now use "Map My Run". I got the VIP something and it comes with different training plans that I check off each day. I think it is like 5 dollars a month. Goes by time rather then miles. I tried one by the mile and found I was over doing it to get more miles. As the time gets longer I am getting stronger and more miles are naturally being added. My easy pace has also increased. Before this year the last time I did any running was when I was in the Army back in the 80's. I HATED it then. Now I love it! Once I get past the lung burn (at about 1/2 mile) Everything feels wonderful. If you enjoy it I hope your get back into running. My walks were just getting so long. Running cuts that time way down. 1821 days ago

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog "Getting The Dreaded "D" Diagnosis". Being a healthcare professional =raising my hand= makes it all the harder, I think. We KNOW better, and we KNOW all the reasons. I, too, "bargained" with my doctor, but now I really need to hunker down and do the deed.
I have seen the damage with patients, and sometimes the denial that some of them exhibited was just plain brutal. Too graphic to go into details here.
Know that I very much appreciate the support. Not sure the A1C will be down, but I know for sure that the weight will be.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope it's a warm Tuesday where you are.

Thank you for your support! We are on this journey for our health . It is so great that we are able to support each other. Who needs those doctors anyway! (we don't because we are becoming healthy! :) 1827 days ago
