Still Here After All These Years
In 2008 after failing at it for 10 years, I lost 29 lb with SP in a couple of months & without suffering. I can't believe I found this program. Overeaters Anonymous helped me stop binges permanently, but lately I was eating like a thin person and doing little exercise. Natural propensity to put on, middle age and menopause didn't help. I'm a sparkie for life & will stick to my maintenance range no matter what. It's always the Xmas photo that throws me. The above was written 6 years ago (2008) and I have been on and off SP for that long, most of the time using the food tracker. I am now worried enough to commit to weight loss and fitness. I tried to accept myself at this weight but I just can't. I would be happy with a 10lb weightloss even if it means to still be above my healthy weight. I'm 61 and have to be on a no-sugar, hi-fiber diet due to ongoing bacterial gut treatment that has hugely helped me get over fibromyalgia. Lets see what can be achieved.

My Goals:
I want to eat simply and healthy but not be deprived of everything. I also need to keep my 15 min power walk on the treadmill at least 4 times a week, pilates once a week, no excuses. Lasting goal: do something about loosing it each time I go 2kg (or 4lb) over my goal weight. Keep off sugar, ongoing goal for the last 20 years, successful most of the time.
My Program:
More active in SP to seriously get moving and to loose 10lb.
Personal Information:
Originally from Argentina, an Aussie citizen for 27 years. Living in the Gold Coast Hinterland, a semi-rural area with town water and Broadband. 30 mins drive to the beach. Self-Employed and out of the rat race of the corporate world in Sydney. Worked as an engineer once upon a time.
Other Information:
Read a lot of literature, love non-mainstream movies & totally addicted to my computer. My husband and I own a Boarding Cat Motel.

Just wanted to say hi!
Been away for awhile, but finally have figured out how to lose something. Didn't want to get here and yo-yo.
Glad to see you looking so good. Hope you are well. :)
Best,
Adrienne
