Hi, My name is Candy and I am a 40 year young mother of 3 wonderful sons! I have been married to my amazing husband for 10 years and am blessed to have the important things in life. God, family, love, and peace.

I began SparkPeople at the end of June 2010 because I began to see one of my sons get very heavy fast, he began to have health issues and it scared me! I thought I am the mom and I have to do something about this. At that time my family was not drinking very much water, eating very many fruits or vegies and we eat out a lot.

Since that time we have cleaned out the cabinets & fridge and replenished them with nuts, wholegrains, reduced fat crackers, chips, and lots of fruits and vegies. We no longer buy soda and we exercise as a family regularly. Going out to eat is an occasional treat and when we do we always try to make better choices.

SP has helped me in so many ways, by their daily messages, friends that encourage and good advice everywhere on SP! I have lost 23lbs and my family has losted some as well! I am changing up my goals and my program as of today and am excited to see where that leads me and my family!

Fitness Minutes: 4,216

My Goals:
1. Eat mini meals every 2 hours

2. Increase exercise time by 10 minutes

3. Intensive exercise by adding faster pace and adding weights

4. Get on SP everyday

My Program:
Monday: Jog 3.25 miles in 40 minutes
Tuesday: S.E.T. class for 1 hour (using heavier weights)
Wednesday: Jog 3.25 miles uphill in 40 minutes
Thursday: Fit and Tone video 30 minutes
Friday: Jog 3.25 miles in 40 minutes
Saturday: S.E.T. Class 60 minutes

Personal Information:
I had 80 lbs to loose I am now down to 57 lbs! Eating right is not as hard as exercise can be when you don't feel like it! I really need to work on exercise to help my arms, hips, and boobs to go down.

Other Information:
I have read "The Spark" and it is great! My favorite part of SP is knowing that their is always someone like you and they need you as much as you need them!!!

    Aw, don't feel sad!! Just learn from your mistakes and move forward. We can't change what we've done in the past, we can only learn from it. You are worth it and you can do this. We all have moments, get over it! LOL!
