I'm so excited to be a part of my very first 5% Challenge, starting October 5th!! Thank you to my SP Friend who let me know when and where to sign up! I'm so excited!

For exercise, I'm starting on a walking program that an old buddy of mine who is an exercise physiologist created for me. You walk everyday, but Sunday is a lighter day for 'rest'. I really like it and it helped me out a lot once before, so I'm starting again. My kiddos are going on this journey with me and I'm so excited that they are!! (Note: my kids are in this to get more stamina and strength, not to lose weight, so they will probably be eating more, my skinny mini's do not need to lose weight!!)

Nutrition is a bit more complicated, my dietitian told me she wants me more Paleo, but I lost what weight I have on a lower fat Keto diet. So, I'm doing a hybrid of both. I gained weight when I tried to do Paleo, partly because it was so hard to stick to, partly because my father passed and my brother has been harassing me. Emotional eating. I thought I was done with that, I didn't do it for over a year, then that happened. I'm seeing a therapist again and hoping he can help. New therapist, only seen him once, and I just love him!! He's already been so helpful!!

How much to lose? I think 15 pounds is good, but I think my actual 5% is more like 9 pounds. But, if you shoot for the stars, you may only land on the moon, but you still made it that far!!

My Goals:
During the Fall 5% Challenge, stay active, on my nutrition, and lose the full 5% or more!!!


My Program:
Blogilates Beginner Calendar 2.0 done 2 months in a row to get my strength back up. Starting cardio on the treadmill with a 12 week walking schedule a buddy of mine created (exercise physiologist). Nutrition is a hybrid of a lower fat version of Keto and Paleo, it's what works for me, so I'm sticking to it. I'm hoping to get a zoodle maker this soon, that will make things so much easier!!



Personal Information:
I am a Christian Stay At Home Mom (SAHM) and love my job! I love to read, crochet, bake, hike (when I'm able), and play games. I have several chronic illnesses that often get in the way, but we are working hard at working around them as best we are able.
